Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026. JustRounds has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it does not track you.

The short version

JustRounds works entirely on your device. We do not run servers that receive your data, there is no account, and the apps contain no advertising or analytics. Nothing about you or your workouts is sent to us or to anyone else.

What is stored on your device

  • Workout history: for each session, the workout type, when it started and ended, active and paused time, skips, work and rest time, rounds completed, an optional effort rating, and an estimated calorie figure.
  • Your settings: the workout numbers you chose, sound and display preferences, and your weekly goal.
  • Your profile (optional): name, units, and weight, height and birth year. These are used only on the device to estimate calories.

This data lives in the app’s private storage. It is not uploaded, synced, shared or sold. Remove it with Profile → Delete all data, or by deleting the app.

Permissions

  • Notifications (Android): only to show the ongoing “workout in progress” notification that keeps the timer and sound cues running with the screen off. There are no push notifications.
  • Background audio and foreground service: to play sound cues with the screen locked.
  • Apple Watch, Health: the Apple Watch app can ask to save your workout to Apple Health and to read your heart rate during a workout. This is optional and handled by Apple Health. The data stays in Health on your devices and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
  • Vibration (Wear OS): to deliver haptic cues.

Apple Health and Health Connect connections on the phone apps are planned as opt-in features. When added, they will be off by default, will ask for permission only when you turn them on, and will never be used for advertising or shared with third parties.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share personal data, build advertising profiles, use analytics or advertising SDKs, or collect your location.

Children

JustRounds is not directed at children under 13, and we collect no information from anyone.
