Privacy Policy
Effective 7 October 2026. JustBeats has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it does not track you.
What stays on your device
Your favourites, presets, collections, saved moments, listening history, alarms and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot see them. Deleting the app, or using Settings → Privacy → Delete personal data, removes them. A library backup you export is a file you control.
What the app connects to
- Station directory. To find stations, JustBeats sends the words you search for, and any language, country or genre you choose, to the community-run Radio Browser service (radio-browser.info). It does not send an account or device identifier, but like any internet request it can see your IP address. Radio Browser does not publish a data-retention policy, so we cannot promise what it keeps. JustBeats does not report which stations you play.
- Radio streams and station logos. Audio and logos come directly from each broadcaster’s servers, which can see your IP address and that you are listening, as with any radio website.
- Voice search (optional). Speech is converted to text by Apple’s speech recognition, on your device where supported and otherwise by Apple. JustBeats does not save or receive your audio.
- Alarms use Apple’s system alarm service; nothing is sent to us.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share personal data, build advertising profiles, use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, or collect your location. Station locations on the map describe stations, not you.
Children
JustBeats is not directed at children. It plays third-party radio broadcasts whose content we do not control.
